Notes
About Submit Your Work
|
- Note
that the New York Transit Museum may edit content for clarity,
appropriateness, or accuracy if it should showcase your project
on the Subway Centennial site.
- By submitting
your project for review, you are agreeing to permit the Museum
to showcase your
project, and to use your name and organizational affiliation.
- Although
the content remains your property and will be cited accordingly,
the Museum has the right to utilize any project
submitted for Museum or MTA educational, promotional, or
marketing purposes.
- By submitting
your work, you also affirm that you
have used proper citations where relevant and that any
resources or media within your project are used according
to their
governing copyright and usage policies.
- The Museum
receives many submissions,
and cannot showcase all of them. Because of the
volume of materials we
receive, we cannot accommodate requests to return work;
please retain
a copy of anything you submit for your own records.
- Projects
will be considered based on their relevance to the Museum,
the Subway Centennial,
and the activity to which they are responding. Originality,
creativity and demonstrated understanding of issues pertaining
to New York's transportation system are very important criteria.
